It is believed that the notion of innovation was first introduced by Austrian economist J. Schumpeter in 1912. A century has passed, and there is still no a clear, unequivocal answer to the notion. A great variety of definitions, which can be found in the literature and on the Internet, can be reduced to a short: innovation is the embedded innovation. Kairbek Nagumanov gave the answer to the question within seminars at the Institute of Physics and High Technologies on January 30.
Professor of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU Department of General Biology and Genomics, Academician of NAS R.I. Bersimbay, has recently visited the Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences at the University of Occupational and Environmental Health in the city of Kitakyushu (Kyushu) during his the two-month visit in Japan. The purpose of the visit was acquaintance with scientific directions of the Institute's research on the application of nanotechnology for health and safety of the environment, the study of training with modern knowledge interaction nanomaterials at the molecular and cellular levels to apply them in applied technology.
The first of a series of scientific seminars on methodology and philosophy of research in the Social Sciences was held on January 25, 2012 year. The lecturer is Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) Mr. François Roy. The title of the report –“Who has the right to speak? Progressive limitations of anthropology. A brief overview of current practices”.
Since the recognition of independence of the Republic in 1991, a special brand of Kazakhstan is considered to be the harmony. The diversity of languages and cultures of Kazakhstani people can serve as a model for many countries in the world. Faculty of philology held an international scientific methodological seminar “Multilingualism and intercultural education: experience of foreign language teaching in Kazakhstan (devoted to the 20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan)”, which was attended by more than 130 participants from Kazakhstan, CIS and foreign countries. Discussion on issues of Modern Linguistics was held in Kazakh, Russian, English, German and French.
