The public of philological science has gained a tradition in the form of an annually held scientific conference "Russian and Modern", which gradually expands the geography and number of participants, as well as members of the organizing committee, thanks to the interest of Russian philology scholars in sharing research results and creating a research environment for the further promotion of advanced technologies in the teaching of Russian language and literature.
So, in the last year of 2016 the idea of the head of the department of the doctor of philological sciences, professor Kadisha Rustembekovna Nurgali with the support of the administration of the university was realized: this autumn scientific philological forum thanks to fastened scientific contacts was held in Astana within the walls of the Eurasian National University named after LN. Gumilev, who for twenty years has achieved considerable success and managed to declare himself as one of the most promising universities in the Eurasian space. As well as it is necessary at the Kazakh people, this scientific event has been organized and carried out with scope and hospitality, and visitors of conference have got acquainted with the new capital of Kazakhstan.
Relay of the International Scientific Conference "Russian Studies and Modernity" in 2017 was hosted by Poland. On September 27-29, the 20th International Scientific Conference "Russian Studies and Modernity" was held in the building of the philological faculty of the Institute of East Slavic Philology of the Silesian University in Katowice (Sosnowiec), organized under the auspices of MAPRYAL, where the Department of Russian Philology of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. . Gumilev the second year is an official member of the organizing committee.
The conference was attended by 136 leading philology-philologists from 16 countries of the world - Austria, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, France and the Czech Republic.
The contents of the conference differed in the variety of topics and the depth of their research. At the center of the discussion were topical issues of Russian linguistics, Russian literary criticism, as well as teaching Russian in various countries of the world community. The subject of the scientific discussion was the problems associated with the economic and political processes in the world - humanization, globalization, informatization, integration, technology and multilingualism. In particular, special attention was paid to the theory and practice of teaching Russian language and literature in new geopolitical, economic and cultural conditions, the introduction of new technologies in teaching, the role of the Russian language and literature in intercultural communication, in the context of global humanitarian processes and etc.
At the plenary session of the conference, Doctor of Philology, prof. K.R. Nurgali you-stepped a report on "Components of the artistic world of Vasily Belov." Participants of this conference were also other teachers of the Department of Russian Philology of our university who made presentations in online mode: Doctor of Philology, prof. S.S. Takhan, Ph.D., prof. L.G. Mukazhanova, Ph.D., Assoc. A.T. Akisheva, art. prep. R.M. Omarov, Rev. A.O. Abaganova.
According to the participants of the conference, the scientific exchange and discussion of the problems was informative, useful. I want to believe that the communication of colleagues did not end there. It will have a continuation in the form of their joint scientific projects, collective monographs, textbooks, in the form of promotion of the programs of "Academic Mobility" and "Diploma Education", according to which their students, undergraduates and doctoral students will significantly expand and consolidate the once begun international scientific relations.
