As part of an exchange program "Academic Mobility" with the support of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the Ministry of Education and Science, I, Master of the 2nd year, research and teaching areas, a specialty "6M042000 - Architecture" , Smagulova Ainur, was trained at the University Technology Malaysia (UTM) for one academic semester.
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) - the oldest state technical university of the country, specializing in the preparation of the technical experts of the highest level. The University consists of two campuses: in Kuala Lumpur and Skuday - is the main campus covers an area of 1222 sq.km. We were trained in Skuday. In this vast territory there are several dozen academic buildings, 15 dormitories, 8 cafeterias, Iranian and Turkish restaurant, local Malay cuisine, grocery stores (24 hours), volleyball and basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, golf lessons horseback riding, outdoor entertainment concerts, scientific Observatory, Repository own medical center and library, a park with a lake and a mosque. In addition to academic studies, most of the time we spent in the library, because there were all the conditions for individual learning: reading rooms, equipped with computers with easy access to the Internet and a huge selection of world literature.
In their free time, the boys went on an excursion to the capital city of Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, where admiring amazing Malaysian architecture, the port city of Johor Bahru, and we had the opportunity to visit the city-state of Singapore.
