Department of Biology and Biotechnology

Department of Biology and Biotechnology was established in September 2006 at the Department of Biology and Ecology. Laboratories of the Department "study of botany" and "Cabinet of Zoology" staffed with devices: microtechnology (microscopes, binocular magnifying glass), herbaria, dummies, fixed artifacts, posters, interactive whiteboard. In the study "laboratories of biochemistry," using modern laboratory facilities: spectrophotometers, electrophoresis apparatus, facilities for ultra-pure water, pH meters, centrifuges, electronic scales, etc. At the department operates a computer room of 13 computers - 4 new generation of scanner, printer, and an interactive whiteboard. Passage of field studies and implementation of research students, masters and doctoral students performed in the laboratories of the National Center for Biotechnology of RK and specialized research institutes of Kazakhstan. Fieldwork students are based on a sports complex Zerenda in Korgalzhinskom and other reserves of the Republic. To carry out doctoral dissertations and master new specific methods for doctoral faculty, twice during doctoral studies at 1 month, are trained in foreign universities (France, Germany, Turkey, China, Spain, etc.), where the work of their second head (kolobratory used). invited to the pulpit to read special courses to our doctoral students.
