Department of Physical and economic geography

Department of Physical and Economic Geography was founded in September 2008 at the Department of Geography and economy. At the department is working on staffing the GIS and the collection of more than 1000 kinds of minerals in the geological museum. The Department adheres to the four directions, which reveal the trend of modern geography: physical geography, economic, social and political geography; Cartography and GIS technology; Geoecology.
Of particular importance is the computer cartography based on geographic systems and aerospace survey. Our university educates studzhentov geographers on modern technology. The employment specialist geographers significant role is the modern development of arts and sciences, as well as the application of GIS technology. Designing industrial facilities and transportation and material-technical equipment are not conducted without the expertise of geographies.
