Faculty of Natural Sciences was founded in 2009 as a result of the reorganization of natural-technical faculty. Dean - doctor of medical sciences, professor Shapekova N.L..
At the 4 chairs there is a three-tier system of bachelors, masters and PhD doctoral students in areas of "Biology and Biotechnology", "Ecology", "Physical and economic geography", "Chemistry".
Faculty combines tradition and experience accumulated during the existence of departments of the university, with the new principles and technologies of the educational process in science areas.
The faculty maintains an active program to build and develop the national innovation system. Under this program, we have developed a package of teaching methods aimed at developing innovative educational environment of international classic University.
We are focused on the need to accelerate the mobilization of scientific and technological capabilities of faculty and allocates its resources on selected priority areas of science, creating conditions for active implementation of its achievements in the educational process. This was upgraded material and technical base of the faculty: Institute of Experimental Biology, function and ecology, bio-organic chemistry, an auditorium equipped with multimedia facilities, open two mobile computer labs equipped with interactive whiteboards and laptops; purchased the unique software for research, academic and scientific laboratories operate on the principle of "one window", i.e. are held lectures, practical and experimental research work.
Currently, the faculty taught 757 people.
