The international cooperation

The international scientific cooperation of tutors of faculty is conducted in several directions:
 - An exchange of the scientific information, the invitation of scientists for participation in work of dissertational advice;
 - Participation in the international professional organizations;
 - Participation in scientific conferences, an exchange of experience of pedagogical work in the form of reading scientific lectures and carrying out of consultations, being an expert, an opponent of candidate and theses for a doctor's degree at their protection, informing of scientists of RK on scientific achievements of linguistics, literary criticism abroad.

The philological faculty as a whole has come into constant creative scientific contacts to the following scientific and educational institutions of near and far abroad and our republic:
 - University Wisconsin-Madison (USA);
 - Granade university (Spain),
 - Genoa university (Italy),
 - London university (Great Britain),
 - University of Lugano (Switzerland),
 - Institute of Russian language by A.S.Pushkin;
 - The Moscow state university by M.Lomonosov;
 - The Moscow linguistic university;
 - The Kazan state (federal) university (Kazan, Tatarstan, the Russian Federation);
 - TIKA (Ankara, Turkey);
 - Management on cultural cooperation of Turkish speaking world (Istanbul, Turkey);
 - Institute Paris -10 (France);
 - Institute of English language of state of Oregon (USA);
 - University of Foreign languages (Hyderabad, India.)

· On June, 11th, 2009 it is concluded a deal of participants of a consortium on creation of Network University of commonwealth of the independent states about joint preparation of masters in a direction "Philology" (Specialization «Russian and the literature»). Moscow. The Russian university of friendship of people, on behalf of rector V.M.Filippov

· The contract about cooperation between philological faculty of L.N. Gumilyov ENU and budgetary educational establishment of Omsk area of average vocational training «Omsk pedagogical college №1» on February, 18th, 2010 has been concluded

· The agreement on joint preparation of experts with qualification (degree) «Master of sciences on a specialty Foreign philology 6М021000» (with knowledge of two foreign languages) in a direction of preparation «Foreign philology (scientific and pedagogical direction)» between the Moscow state linguistic university and L.N. Gumilyov ENU in April, 29th, 2010 was accepted

- In May, 29th, 2010 it has been concluded a deal on realization of the joint program of two-degree education with Kyzylorda University "Bolashak".

- The memorandum of mutual understanding between Embassy of Republic of Poland and L.N.Gumilyov ENU on September, 21st, 2010 has been concluded about opening the center of the Polish language and culture at philological faculty

- In September, 2010 the memorandum between the L.N. Gumilyov ENU and the Yerevan State University has been concluded, within the limits of which the Center of the Kazakh language and culture at the Yerevan University has been opened.

· Scientific and research communications between philological faculty of L.N. Gumilyov ENU and philological faculty of pedagogical institute Ile (Peoples Republic of China) are adjusted

Faculties of foreign languages and foreign philology conduct cooperation for a number of years with:
 - Embassy of the USA in Kazakhstan;
 - Embassy of India in Kazakhstan;
 - News agency ACCELS;
 - British Council;
 - USAID (the Information department of the USA on education);

the international funds:
 - Global Education (the international educational fund);
 - SOROS foundation (fund SOROS);

the organizations:
 - German academic service of an exchange (DAAD) which will annually organize on the basis of our university the test for students and undergraduates, wishing to take part in competition on reception of grants of Germany;
 - With representation in Almaty of Goethe institute (Germany) - the educational organization, engaged support of development of German language abroad, all training to Germany and courses of improvement of qualification of teachers of German language of faculty will be organized and paid by the given organization;
 - The French alliance (representation at embassy of France in Kazakhstan);
 - With educational consulting «Study Inn» where seminars for acquaintance of teachers with the newest literature of publishing houses of the British universities are held;
 - The British Advice, library of which is used by teachers of English language faculty and students for preparation for delivery of tests on «Bolashak»;
 - ACCELS the American Advice on Education where the debatable group works and which is visited by teachers of English language;
 - Peace Corpse;
 - Information service of the USA

· From the beginning of 2005 at philological faculty the program 020-111 «Attraction of foreign experts in high schools of Kazakhstan for preparation of experts with the maximum professional and after high school vocational training» is successfully realized. For 4 years lectures on literary criticism, linguistics leading scientists from Russia, the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland have been read. Work on attraction of known experts of philologists from abroad to a management of dissertations PhD and preparation of experts on credit technology of training with the purpose of realization by them of professional work on the international labor market today proceeds.

· Faculties of foreign philology and foreign languages participate in the organization and carrying out of seminars-trainings on problems of studying of foreign languages with participation of experts from Germany, the USA, India, and France. The educational organization on support of German language abroad - Goethe-Institute spends on the basis of faculty the international seminars on actual problems of teaching of German language as foreign. The international organizations with which the given faculties support close contacts provide faculty scientific, methodical, help, periodic, fiction and other teaching materials in foreign languages.

Individual scientific researches were carried out at support of the international organizations (on the basis of grants):
 - International Grant CRC for participation in methodical seminars (Budapest, Hungary, the Central European university, October, 2008);
 - International grant DAAD (German service of the Academic exchanges) for participation in conference and seminars on mathematical processing texts (Trier University, Germany, on June, 20-30th, 2009);
 - The International conference on a line of Program ACCELS (State Department of the USA) for graduates of scientific program exchanges on problems of language and culture (Washington, George Town University, on July, 3-19rd, 2009);
 - The Center of the international programs «Bolashak» (the grant for scientific training) (March 2009);
