At present, Department of Engineering Graphics and Geodesy time is part of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

Department "Engineering Graphics and geodesy is letting the chair and prepares professionals in the specialty 5V071100 - Geodesy and Cartography", specializing in Applied geodesy, as well as open magistracy 6M071100 "Geodesy and Cartography. "

For students of four faculties: Faculty of Civil Engineering, architecture, design and fine art; Mathematics and Information Systems, Faculty of Physical Engineering.

in the department read the following disciplines: Geodetic software in construction; Surveying-1; Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics, Engineering Graphics-1; Engineering Graphics-2, Engineering Graphics, 3, Computer Graphics, Making maps cartography, engineering and geodetic surveys, topographic mapping; theory of mathematical processing of geodetic measurements, engineering geodesy photogrammetry, Higher Geodesy; Field Practice.

as well as the discipline master 6M071100 "Geodesy and Cartography: Digital surveying equipment, Electronic and geodetic instruments, Modern Problems in Geodesy and Cartography, Applied Geodesy in the organization of construction work, engineering design, digital models and site plans, field practice.


Each discipline has a sufficient number of relevant books, each picture provided by the control task assignments, and instructional literature in the form of worksheets, checklists of programmed instruction, teaching vposoby.

The main objectives of the department are:

· Instilling in students the technical culture of thinking;

· Graphic preparation of students building knowledge, skills, calculation and design of technical facilities, design engineering documentation in accordance with the standards;

· Problem is solved on the basis of modern educational technologies, educational achievements of science, the use of computer technology.

Education of students is carried out in a well-equipped laboratories, specialized classrooms and two computer labs. For training uses the latest multimedia technology.

The team is constantly engaged in methodological work related to improving the preparation and conduct classes in the disciplines of the department. In this methodological guidelines used by students in the performance of modular and settlement and graphic works throughout the entire period of study at the department.
