Department of Computer Science in Education

Department "Computer science" has been formed on September, 1st, 2004 by the order of the rector of university.

Department serves all specialities (except specialities of department «Computer Engineering», «Information Systems» and «System Analysis and Management») university on teaching of the disciplines connected with computer science, information technology, i.e. in this direction the department is service. On department new information technology and modern principles of educational process are used. The department is letting out on a speciality 050111 - "Computer Science" (Bachelor degree) and 6N0111 - "Computer Science" (Magistracy). Both specialities are oriented on a direction "formation":

• 050111 – «Information Systems» (Bachelor degree) – 4 years of training;

• 6N0111 – «Information Systems» (Magistracy) (Scientific and pedagogical level) - 2 years of training.

Head of department Malibekova Meruert Serikovna - the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, the Professor. Was born 1/1/1961 of year. In 1983 ended the Karaganda State university of a name of E.A.Buketova, mathematics, the owner of the republican grant "Best teacher of HIGH SCHOOL", 2008г.

Duration of training on a speciality 050111 - Computer Science (the grant, the contract) - 4 years. Preparation of bachelors is conducted on the basis of GOSO РК 3.08.011-2004, 3.08.261-2006. To the graduate of a Bachelor degree on a speciality 050111 - the Computer Science is awarded the academic level of the Bachelor of Computer Science.
