Cultural and social life

Educational process at the faculty is based on the fundamental documents of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, guiding and regulating the activities of higher educational institutions in the education of youth, and focuses on the ideological direction of development set forth by the President of Kazakhstan in the “President's Message to the people of Kazakhstan”.

Visit to the museum at the university as well as the museum of the first head of state, participation in the Cultural events on Independence Day of Kazakhstan, New Year, “Kyz Zhіbek”, “Ardakty Ana”, also open curatorial hours in each group were made on education and the formation of patriotism, respect for the laws of the country, the civil rights of individuals.

One of the important parts, offering educational activities at the Faculty Council is the curators. Curator allows faculty dean's office to maintain an effective feedback, not only with each student group, but with each student individually - to know their needs, interests and wishes.

Work with a small Assembly of the faculty, religious confessions, against religious extremism, to promote and establish the state language is being done on the formation of cultural values of students and faculty of the university, also students, faculty and graduate students participate in various meetings with representatives of the various concessions.

Surveys of students, action against smoking, drug abuse and AIDS under the Law on “Healthy lifestyles of RK” were conducted on the formation of healthy lifestyle among young people during the year. The festival of KVN for a cup “HLS 2010” was held in the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology to implement the President's Address to the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan “New Decade - NEW ECONOMIC RECOVERY - New opportunities for Kazakhstan”, where 10 teams participated, among them “Vishnyovyi sad” (The Cherry Orchard),”ENU STYLE”, “ASPHalt”,”Kultegіn”,”Evraziat”, “CRAZY FMIT”, “Jokers”, “Igor Nesen”. Guests of the festival “KazEU team”, “Sparta”- KazSJU.

At this competition KVN players demonstrated not only their quick wit and sense of humor, but also showed their positive attitude to healthy living. As a result of the contest winners of the Cup “HLS-2010” were the team of Sparta from KazSJU, a member of the team “Jokers” has won a diploma “Best Player”, Togzhan Kabulanova of “CRAZY FMIT” won a diploma “Best musical number”. In addition to these nominations, the jury set up nominations “Best Player”, “Best Actress”, “Best joke”, “Best way”. Cup holders were awarded prizes.

A lecture on “Madeniettі arak іshu degenіmіz ne?” was conducted in the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology in conjunction with the club “Kazakh Eli”. The complex houses the student. Between 22 and 25 February.

Students and undergraduates of the faculty take an active part in the sporting life of the university: our teams have repeatedly won in football, basketball, volleyball, skiing, all-around.
