3-year Ph.D doctorate student, specializing in “Mathematics” Aigerim Kopezhanova passed scientific training in the Department of Mathematics at Luleo University of Technology from October 18, 2010 till December 22, 2010 ( Lulea, Sweden).

18.12.2010 Campaign for Healthy Lifestyle "Mechanics and mathematics are on the ice"

Rally for Healthy Lifestyle "Mechanics and mathematics are on the ice" was held on December 18, 2010. All students of the 1-year of the faculty of mechanics and mathematics participated in the rally at the rink “Akbulak”. The purpose of the event: healthy life style and team spirit among the 1-year students of the faculty. Following students were distinguished: Zarina Nukeshtaeva, Gulsum Orynbasarova.

03.12.2010 ENU and BashSU cooperation

Professors of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics N. Dzhaichibekov, R. Oinarov with L.N.Gumilyov ENU delegation came with a working visit to Bashkir State University from 27 November to 1 December 2010. Professors of ENU faculty of mechanics and mathematic gave lectures at the Faculty of Mathematics at Bashkir State University.

Student of MECH-22 Darkhan Mustafin was a volunteer during the OSCE summit from the Faculty of Mechanics and mathematics. For the excellent work Darkhan was awarded a diploma.

ENU KVN ¼ finals passed in the ELB conference hall. Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was represented by “Mehito”, team captain is Timur Akhmetov, the other team members are Orazbek Kazbek, Suleimenova Naziya, Zhumabayev Azat. Boys have shown a very interesting game.

15.11.2010 Professor from Moscow Alexander I. Rubinstein gave lectures at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics

Moscow State Forest University Professor (Russia), Alexander I. Rubinstein visited L.N.Gumilyov ENU within the Ph.D program from 11 to 14 November 2010. Professor A.I. Rubinstein gave series of lectures for Ph.D doctoral students, masters, students, teachers of the faculty of mechanics and mathematics on important branches of mathematics. One lecture was devoted to the great mathematician V.I. Arnold.
