The faculty of International Relations has been created by the Rector’s order № 58 on 10th July, 2000, initially, the faculty had 4 departments: International Relations, Political Science, Social Science and Foreign Languages.
Until July 2010 the faculty had the departments of Political Science, International Relations, Regional Studies and Foreign Languages.
By the July 13th 2010 Rector’s order the faculty structure was expanded by adding two departments of Oriental studies and Turkology, which are developing new Bachelor’s degree programs.
Currently the work of the faculty is organized in the composition of five departments:
At the faculty works the highly-qualified teaching staff, including 15 Doctors of Sciences, professors; 26 Candidates of Sciences, 4 PhD and 22 Masters.
