The Council of Young Scientists

The CYS works since May, 2009 and unites faculty's young professors who take active part in the scientific research. 

Aims of the Council are:

·  Assistance and scientific management of students¢ scientific research.

·  Scientific work¢s dissemination among magister and PhD.

·  Informational expansion among young professors, bachelor, magister and PhD about possibilities of participation in scholarship programs.

·  Assistance in organization of scientific events on the level of Dean and Head of the University.

·  The CYS chairman is Marmontova T.V., the candidate of Historical Science, Association professor. Chairman¢s assistant is Zholdasbekova A.N., the candidate of Political Science, Association professor. 

CYS organized next events:

Meeting with representatives of ACSELS and Embassy of the USA, where was told about scholarship and training programs in the USA Universities June 2009).

Student scientific trainings The main world regions: parallels of political development. 24 bachelor and magister students of regional studies, international relationships and history departments participated in this training program (December 2009). The training results will be published in the collection of articles (The end of first quarter of 2010).

Student scientific trainings¢second meeting, which is dedicated to the sixty fifth Victory anniversary is planned on May 2010. The students¢ scientific society is organized on the Regional studies Department with a help of CYS. Society members: 17 bachelor and magister students of Regional Studies Department. Professor Sokolovsky A.M. coordinates the work of this society.

Meetings of scientific society have taken place during the present year.

11 young professors successfully finished trainings of Aga – Khan fund on the theme Looking for social justice and Customs and changes.

Foreing cinema amateurs¢club¢s opening is planned (responsible professor is Tulibaev T.E.) The first meeting of the club will take place in the middle of March, 2010.
