In the course of strengthening international cooperation, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University successfully develops effective and stable relations with the world's leading universities under the Erasmus+ program.
From June 4 to June 8, 2018, the senior lecturer of the Kazakh practical language department, T.S. Gabdrakhman in the framework of the Erasmus+ program, the international credit mobility of teachers, delivered lectures on the Kazakh language and culture at the University of Cadiz in the Kingdom of Spain. The students and professors of the University of Cadiz attended lectures on the topics: "Get to know the Kazakh language!", "Great steppe poetry and melodies (about Kazakh culture)". Our colleague performed and conducted classes in Kazakh, Russian and English. "The lectures were translated into Spanish with the help of an interpreter and aroused great interest among UCA students and staff," says Tolegen Gabdrakhman.
Also students and teachers of the University of Cadiz got acquainted with the sound of the Kazakh dombyra. T.S. Gabdrakhman performed songs in Kazakh on dombyra.
L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University has been actively cooperating with the University of Cadiz under the Erasmus + program since 2016. In 2018, the universities resubmitted a joint application for financing mobility.
The University of Cadiz in Spain is a prestigious state university, opened in 1979 in the Cadiz province of the autonomous region of Andalucia. The university offers programs of all three cycles of higher education. The University of Cadiz is one of the leading universities in Spain. Currently, about 22,000 students study at the University. The University owns four campuses in different cities of the province: in Cadiz, Jerez, Puerto Real and Algeciras.
