June 22, 2018 in the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilev hosted an international roundtable on the topic "Astana - the city of the future", whose goal was to provide "polyphonic anthropology of the urban space." The round table was organized by the Eurasian National University in the framework of the implementation of the scientific project "Places of Memory" in the Modern Culture of Kazakhstan: Processes of Commemoration in Public Spaces”, supervised by Professor of the Chair of Philosophy, Kulshat Medeuova, and is the first in a series of similar events to be held by the French Institute for Central Asian Studies in the capitals of the Central Asian region in the framework of the project "IFEAC and the city of the future", the project manager - Professor Katrin Pujol.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan, His Excellency Mr. Philippe Martine, addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech. On behalf of the Rector of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. The third session of the round table was devoted to the topic "Memory, Culture and Model of the City".
