A meeting with Zhania Aubakirova was held at ENU
At the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University's scientific library, the "Biblionight" program, timed to coincide with World Book and Copyright Day, concluded a week of diverse and interesting events.
During Biblionight, a "Live Book" meeting was held with the renowned pianist, educator, and People's Artist of Kazakhstan, Zhaniya Aubakirova.
Doctor of Philological Sciences, Serik Negimov, conveyed warm greetings to Zhaniya Yakhyaevna, a trailblazer for Kazakhstan who has dazzled the global stage with her performance art, winning the Grand Prix at the Margaret Long and Jacques Thibaud Competition (France, 1983).
Kenjegali Myrzhikbay, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about the artist's life and work, who is a cultural brand of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Zhaniya Yakhyaevna provided videos, commenting on which, she shared thoughts on the career achievements of her students.
At the end of the evening, Zhaniya Aubakirova donated books to the library collection - "Әке туралы сөз. Pages of Memory", "Melody of a Mother's Heart", "Kemel ұstaz", "Kanat. Janara. Their Universes", "Musical Voice of Kazakhstan."
Bakhytzhan Orazaliev, the director of the scientific library, noted that Zhaniya Aubakirova not only performs on stage but also actively participates in the cultural life of the country.
He expressed his gratitude to her for finding the time to meet with readers despite a busy tour and concert schedule.
