I hope that this work will contribute to the development of good and kind behavior of people around the world, because it is values, their revival, that should become a guideline that will help overcome the modern crisis of society,” the author explained.
During the event, Dr. Nevzat Tarhan delivered a lecture on the problems of modern man. The professor noted that in the modern world there is a destruction of human values. According to the expert, problems such as depression, loneliness, narcissism and so on prevail among the global dangers.
“Despite the fact that material wealth is increasing, at the same time, spiritual values are decreasing. Now many people are slaves to their ego. One of such vices is such quality as narcissism, which hinders the socialization of a person and leads them to loneliness,” Nevzat Tarhan stressed.
In the course of answering questions from students, the lecturer touched upon the topic of artificial intelligence:
“Artificial intelligence is a neutral technology. It all depends on what purposes we will use it for. If we direct it to the benefit of humanity, accordingly, we will get only good, if to the detriment, then on the contrary,” the scientist explained.
Nevzat Tarhan also advised the youth to have their own philosophy of life, aimed at the future. He also recommended that students think about the future now and develop in this direction.
