Rector met with talented young people
Rector of the Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov held a meeting with students who won various scientific, sports, and creative competitions of national and international scale.
The meeting was attended by Kazakhstan chess champion Alimzhan Ayapov, silver medalist of the Kazakhstan Paralympic Swimming Championship Zhanat Nyshanali, winner of “Eurasia Aruy – 2024” competition Dayana Zhakupova, winner of “Yer Zhigit – 2024” competition Sarbai Nurmakhanbet, winners of the international festival “Pearl of the East” of the orchestra “Dala Sazy”, winners of the international talent festival “Sand of Sharm” of the dance group “Samuryk” and “E-studio” singers, world karate champion Nazar Kavazov, world boxing champion Almukhamed Akhmetov, winner of the competition “ENU Best Monitor” Aknur Seisembayeva, etc.
During the meeting, the head of the university congratulated the talented youth on their victories and noted:
“You are our pride. We were worried about you when you participated in various contests and rejoiced with you in your victories as ENU is your second family. You spend happy moments at the university. The student period is the time when a person’s personality is fully formed. Use this time to fully develop you person. Your victories contribute both to the university development and to the prosperity of the whole country.”
In addition, Yerlan Sydykov touched upon the topic of building a just society where every citizen should have equal conditions for development. According to the scientist, this will serve as an impulse to create new true leaders.
The scientist also called on young people to unity, solidarity in the family and society, adding that then peace and prosperity will come to society.
In turn, the students thanked the rector and voiced their proposals for the development of the university.
“I am glad that such a meeting was organized. We were able to express our thoughts and suggestions to our rector. He listened to us carefully and promised assistance in the implementation of our ideas," Dana Kairakbayeva, a student of the Faculty of Philology, said
“I was glad to be here. The meeting was very interesting. Many students offered their ideas and shared their experiences. It was valuable. Rector also shared his parting words, which helps a lot mentally,” Alimzhan Ayapov, a student at the Faculty of Economics said.
