Foreign and Kazakhstani historical scientists on charitable traditions in Kazakhstan
As part of the scientific project "Religious traditions and charity in Kazakh society (XIX century - early XX century)", an international scientific and practical conference "Charitable traditions in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held at the Faculty of History of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University.
Foreign researchers took part in the international scientific and practical conference: Dr.Sourindra Banerjee, Associate Professor of Marketing at Leeds University Business School & Deputy Director of Global and Strategic Marketing Research Centre Leeds, England, United Kingdom; Syzdykova Zhibek - Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor , Head of the Department of Central Asian and Caucasian Countries, Institute of Asian and African Countriesat M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Moscow, Russian Federation; Roman Drozd, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Institute of History of Pomeranian University University. Slupsk, Poland;; Abdullah Gündoğdu, Prof. Dr Ankara University, Turkey. Deputy Director of IAACat M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University for International Cooperation E.Sintsova noted in her welcoming address that the discussion of the history and tradition of charity, and new initiatives, trends in the development of charitable activities today is one of the most pressing topics of our time.
