ENU has studied experience of Endowment funds of Russian universities
The delegation of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University visited universities of the Russian Federation in order to study their experience in creating Endowment funds and developing partnerships.
Within the framework of these meetings, there were held negotiations, presentations and exchange of experience with various institutions.
The first meeting of the ENU delegation took place at the Higher School of Economics (HSE), one of the most popular and developing universities in Russia. The Higher School of Economics has a significant number of faculties and enrolled students, exceeding 50,000 people.
Various aspects, including the experience of the HSE Endowment Fund and marketing, were discussed with HSE’s Vice-Rector, Director of the university’s Endowment Fund Vladimir Samoylenko. In addition, the delegation members also got acquainted with the infrastructure and achievements of the Higher School of Economics.
During the next meeting with the Association of Endowment Funds of Russia, which has been successfully functioning since 2019, a presentation of the ENU (L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University) Endowment Fund was held in order to search for possible joint projects and points of contact.
There was also a meeting with the Financial Market Council, at which an agreement was reached on the provision of scholarships to ENU students through the ENU Endowment Fund for the 2023-2024academic year. This decision highlights the importance of Endowment Funds and their role in supporting students and education programs. During the meeting with the Financial Market Council, promising areas of cooperation and exchange of experience related to the management of Endowments and the involvement of donors were also discussed.
All these meetings and the exchange of experience have become an important step in the development of partnership relations between the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, HSE, the Association of Endowments of Russia and the Financial Market Council. Such cooperation will allow the university to expand its proficiency and experience in the field of Endowment funds and marketing, as well as improve the management system and attract resources to support education programs and students.
