Department of international programs

The International Cooperation Service provides:

• Organization and realization of official University arrangements with international representatives as well as chiefs of state organs, public officials and business representatives of the RK (meetings of rector and University administration with foreign visitors; lectures of honorary guests; presentations of international projects and educational programs; international conferences, forums, seminars, etc.);
• Control over observation of protocol proceedings and University etiquette norms while conducting local arrangements(conferences, fairs, meetings, competitions and etc.), assistance in their realization jointly with the relevant University subdivisions;
• Compilation of referral database on the university cooperation with scientific, educational, political and cultural organizations of near and far foreign countries, as well as with public institutions and business corporations;
• Registration of foreign citizens, studying at ENU;
• Preparation of documents of scientific and teaching staff, going abroad on business trip;
• Supervision over the Confucius Institute;
• Preperation of the University presentation on republican and international level, university participation in various educational fairs;
• Search, systematization and transmission of information on international scholarships realized by different organizations and funds;
• Students, lecturers and staff participation in competitions for obtaining scholarship given by various foreign funds, Embassies of foriegn states in the RK and Ministry of Education and Science of the RK;
• Coordination of foreign citizens' enrolment for study on different specialties for acquiring Bachelor's Degree as well as organizing and functioning of Russian and Kazakh languages courses for foreign citizens, and English courses for ENU students and lecturers (N.B. Chargeable courses);
• Coordination of the activity of President's scholarship “Bolashak” and other international education exchange programs;
• Establishment and promotion of international contacts with foreign universities, associations and funds to facilitate the active participation of ENU in the international educational arena;
• Monitoring and analyzing of agreements on cooperation, realization of coordination for programs of academic mobility of students and teaching staff in the frame of bilateral agreements;
• Control over education of foreign citizens at ENU on all levels, observing contractual provisions.
