Network University of CIS
The CIS Network University is the development and implementation of an analogue of the Erasmus Mundus program within the framework of a single (common) educational space of the CIS member states.
The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and attractiveness of higher education, strengthen cooperation and inter-university relations in the field of higher education in the territory of the CIS member states. The project is aimed at the organization and implementation of high-quality joint master's programs, strengthening international cooperation in the field of training highly qualified specialists.
The CIS Network University functions as a Consortium with the equal partnership of all partner universities and is open for other organizations to join in the order established by the Consortium members.
The Consortium members are the leading universities of the CIS member states, Russian-Slavic universities, and higher educational institutions, which are the basic organizations in the areas of cooperation by the decisions of the Council of Heads of Governments of the CIS member states.
Joint masters training at L.N. Gumilyov ENU within the CIS Network University is carried out in such areas as: international relations, international law, economics, tourism, management, nuclear physics, philology (Russian language) and construction.
Joint educational programs training at partner institution within the framework of the CIS Network University is carried out by independent funding, educational quotas of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (Rossotrudnichestvo *), funds of the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation of the CIS (IFESCCO), and other sources.
