“Yegemendigim – Yeldigim” Republican Aitys among schoolchildren has ended at ENU

Astana, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, hosted the republican aitys of young akyns “Yegemendigim – Yeldigim” among schoolchildren “Kola Dombra – 2024”.

According to the organizer, akyn-aitysker, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of ENU Serikzat Duisengazy, the purpose of the event is to promote the achievements of our sovereign country, reveal the inner potential of young akyns within the walls of the school, search for new names among aityskers and support talented youth.

For the first time, 22 akyns took part in the competition throughout the republic, 11 couples participated on the first day of aitys.

First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the International Union of Akyns-Aityskers and Zhyrshy-Termeshi, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Amanzhol Altayev addressed the young aityskers with good luck.

According to the rules, 8 couples selected from 22 akyns advanced to the next stage, where Ali Islam from Shymkent and Beibit Baizhigit from Mangystau touched on various social topics and started aitys.

Akyn-aitysker, the owner of “Altyn Dombyra” Yerkebulan Kainazarov, akyny-aityskery Iran Gayip Kuzembayev and Omirzhan Kopbosyn , deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the jury Rinat Zaiytov, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanarbek Ashimzhan Youth Spirit head of the Ministry of education Akerke Eskendirova and science Head of the Center for the Implementation of Media Initiatives of the Ed Umiti Foundation Azamat Onaibayev, Akerke Iskendirova and others took part in the competition.

All participants were awarded letters of thanks and cash prizes in the amount of 50 thousand tenge, mentors-teachers of akyns – letters of thanks from the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the aitys results, Islam Ali Birzhanuly (Shymkent) became the Grand Prix winner the (500,000 KZT and the title of "Kola Dombra" ). Beibit Baizhigit (Mangystau region) became first (500,000 KZT).

The second place (300,000 KZT) was shared by Arai Nuradin (Aktobe region) and Aiganym Maksutkhanova (Astana city).

The third place (150,000 KZT) was distributed between Rauan Nurshabekov (Almaty region), Nurislam Rogatov (Kostanay region) and Yerasyl Seitzhan (Almaty).

The special prize named after Kansha Raisova was won by Inzhu Zhanabai (Zhambyl region), special prize named after Yesenkul Zhakypbek (100 thousand tenge) - Abylai Kairatuly (Astana city); the special prize named after Nartai Bekezhanov – Marsel Yersayynov (Atyrau region), the special prize of the Amanat party was awarded to Nurakhmet Mansur (Kyzylorda region), the special prize of the “El Umiti” corporate fund went to Tolganai Shalkarkyzy (Abai region) and Nurtore Myktybai (Turkestan region) Aybarys Sauytkan (Almaty).

Speaking at the aitysker award ceremony, Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisenbayev noted that aitys among schoolchildren next year will be scaled across the country, and Rector of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov said that the annual winner of the republican aitys of schoolchildren “Kola Dombyra” will be accepted to ENU for free.
