ENU has fully resolved the issue of dormitories

The issue of providing students with accommodation is fully resolved at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

By the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year, a new dormitory with 354 bed-places at 13A, Pushkin Street was commissioned. The 4,421 sq. m. building was built as part of a public-private partnership by “Bastau. Partners.kz ". The five-storey student dormitory has 118 rooms for three persons each. All rooms are equipped with furniture, household appliances, and coworking areas for study and leisure.

The construction of student homes is carried out with the support of investors, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Akimat of Astana and the JSC “Financial Center”. The work is carried out within the framework of the instruction of the President of RK Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on attracting private investors to the construction of student dormitories. Thanks to the new model of interaction, ENU has managed to provide all students with accommodation.

Last year, the university commissioned a 2,656-bed dormitory consisting of three blocks. Each block has libraries, coworking areas, sports and commercial facilities. The design took into account the needs of students with disabilities, and the infrastructure complies with the principles of a barrier-free environment.

Today, ENU has 11 student homes with almost 7,000 beds, and additional memoranda have been signed with six private dormitories. In the 2025-2026 academic year, the total number of bed-places was increased to 8,500, which made it possible to completely eliminate the need for student accommodation.

Applications for settlement are accepted through the “”Platonus system in electronic format. This approach ensures transparency and eliminates the subjective factor. In addition, the university has a "Situation Center" – temporary housing for applicants and their parents for the period of submitting documents to our university. The center is designed for 30 people and operates around the clock.
