
Key aspects of the implementation of the ENUgrad project were discussed at ENU

The Transport and Energy Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, a meeting of department heads was held under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Omirzhan Kokaev. The meeting was also attended by the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board - Rector on Construction Affairs, Mr. Kaisar Sayabayev, along with his team.
During the meeting, the key aspects of the “ENUgrad” project implementation were discussed, including issues related to academic and research infrastructure, the integration of faculties into the overall concept of campus development, and the mechanisms of interaction between faculty members, students, and the future university ecosystem. Participants highlighted the importance of systematically involving academic staff in the process of developing proposals and implementation mechanisms. The meeting served as a platform for open dialogue and the development of constructive ideas to be considered in the further advancement of the “ENUgrad” project.
Dean of the Transport and Energy Faculty, Mr. Omirzhan Kokaev, noted:
“The «ENUgrad» project is a strategic initiative defining the future development of the university. For our faculty, it is essential to carefully examine how the project will impact the educational process, the development of laboratories, and the research base. We must ensure the participation of all departments in forming proposals and initiatives. Particular attention should be paid to keeping the university a comfortable and modern space for both students and faculty.”
This meeting was another session in the series of discussions on the “ENUgrad” project with the university’s technical faculties. Such a dialogue format is of fundamental importance, as it makes it possible to take into account the specifics of each field and to develop coordinated proposals. The focus remains on advancing scientific and innovative activities, as well as on training competitive technical specialists capable of solving complex technological challenges.
In this context, ENU can serve as one of the key drivers in preparing specialists for the innovative economy of the capital and the country.
Advisor to the Chairman of the Board – Rector on Construction Affairs, Mr. Kaisar Sayabayev, emphasized:
“The ‘ENUgrad’ project is aimed at creating an innovative campus with modern infrastructure. Its successful implementation directly depends on effective cooperation between the administration, faculty, and students. The project includes stages where each faculty will be able to contribute its proposals and highlight its priority needs. It is extremely important to develop a unified faculty position on infrastructural and educational requirements so they can be reflected in the general concept. The project is being implemented under the chairmanship of Rector Erlan Bat tashevich Sydykov and carries immense importance for the university’s future students, creating conditions for quality education and comprehensive development.”
