
Faculty Day was held at the library of ENU



















The Academic Library hosted a Faculty Day titled «Library and Faculty: Partnership in the Educational Space», aimed to familiarize university faculty members and researchers with the library’s services, information resources, and their capabilities.
At the opening of the event, the Library Director, Bakytzhan Orazaliyev, spoke to participants about the main areas of the library’s activities, the work being carried out, and plans for its future development.
The Vice-Rector for Digitalization at ENU, Gulmira Bekmanova, noting the rapid development of modern digital technologies and the significant challenges they bring to the library sector, emphasized that the university library keeps pace with the times and develops in accordance with contemporary requirements.
At the same time, the Director of the University Department of Academic Affairs, Baizhuman Kashkhinbay, stressed that the development of the library as an integral part of the university’s digital ecosystem is one of the strategic priorities, and he also highlighted the library’s contribution to supporting educational and scientific processes.
Faculty members and researchers who participated in the Faculty Day explored specially prepared book exhibitions, including «New Arrivals», «Works of ENU Scholars», «Rare Books and Manuscripts», and «Books in Braille». They also received consultations on information resources of interest and gained useful insights.
It should be noted that this annual event is traditionally held to strengthen cooperation between the university’s faculties and the library.
