
ENU explained to graduates the rules of employment under a state grant
A meeting of graduates with representatives of JSC “Financial Center” was held at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. It was dedicated to the issues of mandatory training and mechanisms for the employment of young professionals.
The event was opened by ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai, emphasizing the strategic importance of dialogue for graduate students. According to him, the purpose of the meeting is to explain in detail the mechanisms for implementing grant obligations and to help future specialists confidently navigate the requirements of legislation.
During the meeting, Financial Center specialists Akzira Serikkali and Lazzat Sebepbayeva explained in detail the current rules and requirements for graduates in 2026. In particular, the issues of mandatory three-year professional training for graduates who studied on the basis of a state grant, as well as special conditions for rural quotas and pedagogical areas were considered.
As Akzira Serikkali noted, today the Financial Center accompanies about 357,000 graduates across the country. According to her, the fulfillment of training obligations is an important stage in the professional development of young specialists. The organization provides not only explanatory, but also methodological support, helping graduates to correctly build the employment process.
They also discussed mechanisms for the employment of young professionals, ways to find vacancies, demand in the regional labor market, the possibility of registering through an Electronic Labor Exchange, as well as feedback from the Financial Center. During the meeting, the graduates were able to ask their questions and received specific answers.
Special attention was paid to financial obligations in case of non-fulfillment of the work requirement, the procedure for repayment of debt, as well as the conditions for postponement or release. The issues related to students in the master's and doctoral programs were considered in particular detail.
The meeting became a significant platform for an open dialogue and improving the legal literacy of future specialists. Such initiatives help graduates studying under a government grant to confidently enter the labor market and take a conscious step into their professional future.
