Opening the meeting, Ardak Beisenbai, ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, noted that close cooperation between the university and employers is an essential condition for training competitive specialists. According to him, feedback from representatives of various industries allows for the timely improvement of educational programs, the development of practice-oriented learning, and an increase in the demand for graduates in the labor market.
During the meeting, Assel Sultanova, HR Director of the "Rixos President Astana" hotel, raised the issue of the role of internships and knowledge for successful graduate employment.
A report on the relevance of understanding employers' needs was presented by Arman Bekturova, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance at "QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ" JSC.
In addition, the participants discussed the creation of new educational programs that meet the demands of the modern market.
It is worth noting that the ENU Employers' Council was established ten years ago. Today, it comprises representatives from 22 companies and partner organizations. They participate in the development and examination of educational programs, submit proposals for their improvement taking into account labor market needs, and facilitate the organization of professional internships for students and the development of university-employer cooperation.
