ENU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with ABEEK

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Seoul between The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK).

The signing ceremony took place as part of the state visit of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Republic of Korea and the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit.

The document was signed by ENU Rector Yerlan Sydykov and ABEEK President Woo Seung Kim.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in the fields of engineering and IT education, international accreditation of educational programs, professional knowledge and experience exchange, and the implementation of advanced approaches to quality assurance in higher education.

The partnership with ABEEK opens up new opportunities for strengthening ENU’s international ties, improving its educational programs, and expanding cooperation with Korean organizations in the field of engineering education.
