A postage stamp was issued for ENU’s 30th anniversary

Eurasian National University and Kazpost JSC have issued a special postage stamp dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university.
The solemn ceremony of introducing the postage stamp into circulation took place with the participation of the university rector Yerlan Sydykov and the Operational director for the postal business of Kazpost JSC Baglan Orazbai. The event was also attended by teachers, scientists, students and graduates of the university, as well as representatives of employer companies.
The postage stamp is printed at the Banknote Factory of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The author of the design is Gulnaza Tulyasova. In the manufacture of the brand, protective elements using ultraviolet paint and partial varnishing technology were used.
"This year, Eurasian National University is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Over the years, the university has come a long way, becoming one of the leading centers of education and science in the country. The issue of a commemorative postage stamp is a piece of ENU's history that will preserve the memory of the anniversary date for many years to come. I am sure that this stamp will take its place in the history of Russian philately and will become another symbol of our university," ENU Rector Yerlan Sydykov said.
It should be noted that the issue of commemorative postage stamps dedicated to the ENU has already become a peculiar tradition. Previously, the stamps were issued to mark the 20th and 25th anniversaries of Eurasian National University, as well as the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist Lev Nikolayevich Gumilyov.
