L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University announces the acceptance of applications from undergraduate students studying on a tuition-paying basis for tuition fee discounts.
The discounts are granted in accordance with the Regulations on the Provision of Tuition Fee Discounts for Educational Programmes of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, approved by the decision of the University’s Board of Directors, Minutes No. 11 dated December 24, 2021.
Application period: September 1–25 of the current academic year.
A discount is granted for one academic year, under only one eligible category, and cannot be combined with other discounts. Applications are accepted by faculty dean’s offices, reviewed at Faculty Council meetings, and subsequently submitted for consideration by the University Commission.
Discount Rates and Eligible Categories
10% tuition fee discount:
- winners of national olympiads, scientific and creative competitions, and sports competitions;
- authors of scientific works;
- students with high academic performance at the level of A, A-, B+, B, B-;
- students actively participating in the public and social life of the University.
15% tuition fee discount:
- students from low-income families;
- students from the same family who are simultaneously studying at the University on a tuition-paying basis;
- children of participants in military operations in Afghanistan.
20% tuition fee discount:
- winners of international Olympiads;
- graduates of boarding schools and orphanages;
- students deprived of parental care and placed under guardianship;
- children of University employees who have at least 5 years of continuous service at the University.
30% tuition fee discount:
- students with disabilities.
Required Documents
To have an application considered, the following documents must be submitted:
- a copy of the identity document;
- a copy of the agreement for paid educational services concluded with the University;
- copies of tuition payment receipts for the entire period of study;
- the original academic transcript for the entire period of study at the University, except for first-year students;
- documents confirming eligibility for the relevant discount category.

Important: tuition fee discounts are granted on a competitive basis after the submitted documents have been reviewed in accordance with the established procedure.
